PRAYER NIGHT

1st Sunday of each month

6:00-7:15pm

Creating time to pray irrespective of our busy schedules is of great importance. Prayer is not just asking God to do something for us but a way we commune and fellowship with our Heavenly Father. We speak to him and He speaks to us. We get together to pray:

  1. That the will of God will be done in our lives. (Matthew 6:10 NKJV)
"Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Luke 22:41-42 NKJV
  2. That light will come The light of God reveals our heart and everything about us.
  3. We will become fortified (empowered)
"But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit..." Jude 1:20 NKJV
  4. Prayer enables us to overcome
  5. Prayer brings to reality the promises of God
  6. Prayer brings revival (an outpouring of God)
  7. When we pray we experience revival, an awakening, a resurrection, a change and willingness to obey God.
"Ask the LORD for rain In the time of the latter rain. The LORD will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone." Zechariah 10:1 NKJV
  8. Prayer is a way to fellowship with God
